This afternoon I received a package from Cadillac. Opening the box was a black inner box which looked like the package which contained the Cadillac First gift box that some people have received. Inside the box was a book in a slip cover titled "Cadillac 110 Years " by Assuline. The book is sold on Amazon if you would like to see what it looks like. I will download some photos later so you can see what I am talking about. I do not know if it was from GM or Covert my selling dealer.

No I bought mine in Jan. and received my book about a week and a half ago.

Indeed a nice surprise. I received a similar book with a couple previous car purchases, and it's a nice touch. Maybe with econoboxes GM can send emails with a link to a free eBook. ;-)

I just received a book yesterday as well. Leased on 1/31/13. These little extras really push Cadillac over the top. Very nice surprise!

I received this book also however I did not receive the box of firsts. When I first heard I got something from them, I thought it was the box of first. I purchased my car the first week of January.

Maybe that's why I haven't received the book, because I did get the Box of Firsts gift. I got my car in late November, so maybe the gift you get is dependent on purchase date?

Same here leased car in Nov and got the first kit no book. My guess is they replaced one with the other.
