New parts for the cts off of the 2010 Camaro (Air intake, engine covers)

Found some interesting bits to add to your cts's right from GM
Just pop out the chevy symbol and replace with your cadillac symbol
Engine covers:

2010 V6 Camaro Engine Cover (Victory Red)
2010 V6 Camaro Engine Cover (Red Jewel Tintcoat)
2010 V6 Camaro Engine Cover (Inferno Orange)
2010 V6 Camaro Engine Cover (Scorch Yellow)



And this is an air intake made to work with the llt engine.
Who knows. it might fit just fine of just take some minor modifications

They do not have the pics for the all of the engine covers yet, just yellow and black.
The red jewel tintcoat sounds like it would be pretty cool.

and 327 dollars for a genuine gm intake seems pretty decent to me.
I don't know if you guys can see it, but the intake is supposed to be chrome and steel with black accents.
It has a large exposed air filter in the box and is sealed against heat in the engine compartment.
The flexible tubing should help with fitment issues.

I don't want to be a Debby-Downer but . . . . .

I look at the Camero intake box and that of the D3 box and can't help but notice a definite shape disparity. It may be like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Unless the box is seriously cut to fit. :banghead:

What do you guys think? :hmm:

The CTS intake arm is also a right angle, whereas that Camaro box is clearly set back from the front of the engine bay. Check the angle of the tube coming out of the box- won't fit.

wouldnt be the first time GM shared parts across models....the Pontiac Solstice has parts from the Hummer, Colorado, GMC trucks, and the Grand AM.....most are cosmetic, lights, vents, etc....but it does share the transmission from the Colorado and the differential from the CTS.......
