You are going to get answers that range from "24 hours" to "10 months then they cancelled it". There are WAY too many variables that go into answering how long your order will sit at 1100.

Yeah, this is very true. Mine went from 1100 to 2000 in a few days. Then a couple of weeks later, it was at 3000. Then two weeks later, 3100.

I remember asking people "Now that I am at 3100, despite all the new constraints, are my Duramax/Super Cruise/Onyx packages 'locked in'?"

"Yes!" I was told by many people.

Then it went to 3000 again.

And two weeks later, down to 1100!

And then, cancelled.

It really seems to be a crapshoot.

What craziness. It started with the Onyx wheels; then the monochromatic emblems; Duramax; running boards; Super Cruise; Auto Stop; full lumbar articulation; steering column lock; heated seats.... Ah, we live in interesting times.

I went to the Caddy/Chev dealership yesterday. A huge showroom, with nothing but one pickup truck in it. It was empty. Very eerie.

I asked for even $20.00 less so I can buy lunch. Not a chance.

BUT... I did get a nice Cadillac baseball cap and a tote bag as well!
And I got a full tank of gas!

If GM gave a decent programmer a week to design a consumer access point for work bench or some equivalent site it would answer so many questions. Hire the domino's pizza people. I can track my entire pizza order including GPS as the driver comes down the driveway. 100k SUV.... no such luck.....

Good call! I'm on my third Platinum Escalade. There's no going back. It's a blessing in disguise! (aside from the fact that the Platinum interior color options aren't so amazing...)

But those massaging seats and icebox? Oh yeah!!

My paint quality bugs me; my defective parking sensors bug me; the scratch inside my brake light housing bugs me; the visible airbag stitching on my dash bugs me... etc... but I guess at this point, I should just be happy I have a truck! Ultra Cruise should be awesome!
I really love Super Cruise. First had it two years ago on my CT6, and now on my Escalade. It's great, especially in traffic.
My CT6 won't change lanes, but the Escalade does, after you activate the turn signal.
I'm looking forward to the next OTA update, as it will change lanes on its own. That will be super cool.

I have it on my CT-6 and never used it in the city.
Now that I live in the country, I use it on my Escalade.
It's a "nice to have", in my opinion.

I guess knowing that my Sport Platinum Diesel is equipped with every single possible feature.. I should appreciate it more.

The number of these trucks that may or may not lack full lumbar support, parking sensors, lit sill plates, power running boards, rear seat entertainment, steering wheel locks, stop-start, express windows, and so forth is just staggering.

Not to mention that it could take over a year to get the truck.

We originally ordered a 2021 and that 7k jump in price was a little surprising to see on paper! LOL!

Remember - I'm in Canada, so although I paid MSRP, add 30% to that number!

I can't complain, though. Not only did I only wait around 4 months from the time I left my deposit, but it's pretty much the only Escalade I know that has every single feature and option, with absolutely zero constraints.

I think I gotta work on my French, though!

(The price is actually really good, since this is in Canadian dollars)
