Someone on FB said sport trim is unavailable right now ?? I highly doubt thats accurate

Last week Sport was on a higher constraint than a Platinum Sport.

Dealer gets a weekly list for what is on constraint for that week. Changes every Thursday

Sports are on a constraint. It’s been 3-4 weeks since Lockhart was last allocated one.

You will probably be sitting at 1100 for a while if you just ordered a Platinum in October.

Means there are still a lot of orders in front of you. They do not go through the list chronological though. For instance if the person next on the list has something on the build that is constrained, they will get skipped over & dealer with place the next order in line where there will not be constraint issues.

I was at 3300 for about a week then on to 3400 with a Target Production Week assigned then I went back to 3000

I’m now at 3400 and this week is my TPW. I would say that everything is up in the air until you reach 4000 (available to ship) or 4200 (order shipped)

even at 4200, dealers have had vehicles sit at the lots once unloaded from rail.

@travieb23 I was thinking it was very abnormal that the car was built Monday and shipped Tuesday this week. On my 21 order the vehicle sat in Arlington about a week before the train started moving

@travieb23 My '21 ESV was built on 4/22. Here are the 2 screen shots Matt had sent me. Top one is it showing the vehicle still at the Plant Yard on 4/28 . The 2nd image is from May 1. It shows the path of rail & at the time of the snippet it was near Memphis.

@travieb23 It was back in the Spring. The date improved twice while in transit & it landed at Lockhart the exact day it said it would. Obviously sounds like things have changed. Also, once your vehicle is invoiced it has a date of arrival on it as well. My guess is GM would not invoice Lockhart for vehicles if GM plans to hold them for weeks, so that could be another source of truth.

@Edward502 it will show up on the sticker & dealer invoice with the upcharge. Generally if you are at 2000 or beyond, the dealer has a way to credit it to the buyer.

So I read that dealers find out their allocation on Thursdays, have to have their orders in by Saturday and find out Tuesdays if they have been accepted. Does anybody know if this is accurate info? Just curious if the only reason to check the status would be a Tuesday to see if its moved beyond 1100?

Well i am scared to message him to check the status even though i my message him once in 2 weeks. Last time i messaged was a week back and his answer was BUDDY i will call you when its here , transportation is nuts right now and my best guess is end of the year. I have people waiting for over 6 months.

So is there any other way to track my truck.
