Thank's for the heads up on the head gasket Kevin!!
what do you mean by overheating???
I don't plan on towing anything,
Just keep the coolant level's and fluids up???
Should I not plan on taking the car on to long of a road trip???
I have read nothing but bad thing's about the motor: 4.1.
That's a shame because the car is in mint cond.
white on white leather, loaded w/continental wheel,I bought it from a buddy's aunt who was up in age and babied the hell out of it.
Was and or is the 4.1 "that" bad???
Thanks again

Hi Dan.. Thanks for signing up! And welcome aboard.. You MUST post pictures in our picture section. Okay? The car sounds really, really nice.. Don't worry about taking the car on long trips - that's not any problem at all. Just make sure the car is maintained and has proper fluids and stuff like that. I don't know all that much about the 4.1 so I'll leave that to someone else.. But, I'm sure if you maintain it - you'll be fine.. I think it was just a little weak...

Just maintain it BETTER than the owners manual says and youll be fine. Flush and fill the radiator every year, and flush the tranny/refill the filter every 60k. OTher than that, just do what the bible says, I mean manual.

That is very true Sal! If she has 36,000 original miles on it, and you keep checking the fluids on the 4100, you should be just fine! But just about everyone I've came across knocked at one time or another!
BTW...Welcome Dan!
