Hey Guys,

I just joined the forum as I just purchased a 1994 Fleetwood Brougham. I'm in NY and I bought the car from Florida where there are no front license plates needed. Can I purchase a front plate bracket from my local Cadillac dealer or do I need to start looking for a used one?

Thanks,
Nick

Fleetwood Guy: I have a few things I'd like to talk to you about part wise for my 94.

P.S. You've got Brougham spelled wrong on the site. Not sure if you noticed, just a heads up. :)

No worries man. :) If you have a messenger program of any sort though, hit me up. I'm looking for a few things, trying to budget them in in the next month or so.

From BMW to Brougham, how do you like it?
I sell BMW's for a living as well as drive a couple of them. I always loved the look of the 93-96 Brougham and I found a mint white one that I just HAD to have.

I feel that a great car is a great car no matter how different they may be. BMW makes the finest, well balanced sports sedans in the world but when it comes to pure luxury, the Fleetwood is my favorite.

I have to say, if I ever had the chance to own an 8 Series.. I would snap that up in a heartbeat. Gorgeous car. But I fell in love with driving the FWB when I was 15, and it's stuck. :) Glad I got one (ironically, the one I first drove).

Welcome to the forums Nick. :)

8's are beautiful cars but if you're going to own an old one, you'd better be a BMW technician. Even if you know how to fix them the parts will kill you. One of the other reasons why I went for the FWB was the simplicity and durability. When you deal with such complicated machines like BMW's every day, you begin to appreciate a simple car.
