Hi,

I recently purchased 2 new keyless remotes for our DTS 2002 Cadillac Deville and after we followed the instructions to activate it, all buttons worked EXCEPT the trunk.
We still have the original remote, for which the trunk still works, so this isn't the Valet issue in the glove compartment nor is does it have to do with the button inside the trunk.

I'm just trying to find the instructions completely.

Any help you all can give me, will be appreciated.

it could just be the contacts for the button in the remote are dirty. you could try taking the remote apart and cleaning the underside of the rubber buttons, and the gold part of the circuit board that they press onto. i'd use alcohol on a q-tip

I would say they shipped you the wrong ones. I had that happen to me the first time I ordered two for my 2007
DTS. The guy replaced them with the right ones.

I know you've probably already tried this but trunk button on my FOB seems to require about a 1-2 second press before it activates.
