I just checked mine. I think the back is easier. It's just a stick On.CJd said:I know I'm showing my age...I remember when the plain badge was on the lowly Sedan De Ville, and the wreath was only on the top of the line Fleetwood Brougham. I got the feeling Cadi left behind a tradition that lasted for decades when they went back to the plain badge for their top end cars. It is bigger, so I guess that compensates... So, I actually prefer the wreath...but the wife likes the new badge...and, after all, that's what really matters!

The whole trim including the base of the wreath is part of the assembly, I think?OCescaladeESV said:??? The older 2015 escalades have a round imprint in the rear hatch to accept the old round escalade logo, how are you simply going to stick the new logo into the round imprint?
Actually....I know I'm showing my age...I remember when the plain badge was on the lowly Sedan De Ville, and the wreath was only on the top of the line Fleetwood Brougham. I am in the process of updating my 2014 CTS-V Coupe with the new 2015 style crest. It's gonna change the entire look of the car for the better. The old emblem reminds me of my grandparents. Not a bad thing, but it's just more of an old school look.Haha @ GM4Life The new will grow on you, it accentuates the car beautifully to as where before you would just stare at this shiny wreath.
Yep...they actually styled the grills to be a big badge shape, so it's all coordinated. For some reason, the new emblems blends well with the front grilles of the new models. Tbh, I like it, but still love the old emblems.
The Calais series always had the V and crest, along with the DeVilles, except in '70 and '71, when all standard Cadillacs had only the crest except for the Fleetwoods, which used the wreath as well.Actually....
The plain badge used to adorn one Cadillac, the Cadillac Calais.
Remember that one?
The DeVilles had Chevrons under the badge, where the fleetwood and the Eldorado had the wreath.
