Hello all, just moved over to the CTS AWD Luxury (2014) and have a few questions. It will not play my DVDs, only CDs in the optical drive, is this normal? Also is there really only 1 USB port? No audio in plug? Also what is the row or red LEDs above the dash reflected on the windshield? Any problems with the motorized cover for the cupholders? Mine does not open fully. Thanks in advance!

Lots of questions, but here goes my best answers. It is a CD only player, I have three usb ports, one under CUE and two in the center console under the armrest, no audio in plug, red leds are probably your collision warning lights. My cover opens far enough. What do you consider fully open? The handle has to stay out from the instrument panel to close it again.

Thanks so much for your reply. The cup holder closest to the dash is slightly blocked when the cover is open, if I give it a little nudge it opens a bit more. Need to go find those other USB ports now!

When you save favorites to your XM radio on Cue do you see the station's name or just the channel number? My SRX used to display the name, but now I only see the channel #. Is this considered normal?

You can edit the favorites display names with whatever names you wish through the CUE system. There are numerous CUE videos on YouTube that demonstrate many features of the CUE system.

Just located the audio-input jack next to the 2 USB ports and the SD card reader. It is really an awkward location as you cannot see it unless you are a contortionist or leaning over while standing outside the vehicle. I guess the ergonomics guy at GM was on vacation! Just glad to have one and that it's working!

Hello, not sure if this is the right place to ask a question. We got a 2014 CTS 4 2.0 L recently. I have figured out pretty much everything so far except for the green car icon on the left lower part of the customizable 5.7 inch display. I can't tell what it is and it is not in the manual either. This green car shaped icon comes on intermittently and when it is not showing, the odometer reading is displayed in that area. Any thoughts on what it is?

I think what you are referring to is the following to close warning. If it is green you are Good. If it turns amber you are to close to the car in front of you. At least
that how it is on my CTS. Also if there is no car in front of you it does not show at all.

Described for the 2015 on pages 9-53 and 9-53 of the manual in an obscure fashion, just happened to see it as it is not specified in any index.
