How much are you guys generally paying for your clutch? I went to the dealer earlier and they mentioned something close to 3000 dollars for a new clutch! Doesn't it seem a bit high?

I changed out my clutch and flywheel to the TPIS single mass assembly for less than $800. Just a clutch should be a lot less. Figure another 300-400 (maybe) for an install if you don't turn your own wrenches. Hell, my original clutch is still good as new (7,000 miles or so)... you want it?

No (I haven't), I have about 24,000mi on the V and clutch grips like it did on day one. I know it's self adjusting but I think my wear and tear on it is very low. Even my original brake pads are still fine (probably because I use the transmission to slow down).

Ishminder-

There is a TSB on the clutch for certain build dates. Pedal sticking to the floor on >6k shifts. I had mine replaced for free.

Some dealers are giving a hard time with the TSB replacement. Mine is one for example. They wouldn't do it unless they could duplicate the issue even though it fell within the TSB.
