They must be smoking crack...

I changed out my clutch and flywheel to the TPIS single mass assembly for less than $800. Just a clutch should be a lot less. Figure another 300-400 (maybe) for an install if you don't turn your own wrenches. Hell, my original clutch is still good as new (7,000 miles or so)... you want it?

Has anyone actually burned out their clutch yet, and or come to the end of it's life?

The dealer is way off on the $3,000 grand for a new clutch.

No (I haven't), I have about 24,000mi on the V and clutch grips like it did on day one. I know it's self adjusting but I think my wear and tear on it is very low. Even my original brake pads are still fine (probably because I use the transmission to slow down).

Some dealers are giving a hard time with the TSB replacement. Mine is one for example. They wouldn't do it unless they could duplicate the issue even though it fell within the TSB.
not hard to duplicate when you drive like I do:devil: .

Seriously it makes me glad I use Moore Caddy. Damian didn't even question it.

sorry to hijack *** I actually sent Damian an email on this a week or so ago. He hasn't gotten back to me yet but I understand he's really busy. I'll give him a call next week and setup an appointment. I think it's worth me taking the long drive***
