Just ordered new slotted and drilled rotors for the Lac (thx R1concepts), and new pads, Been pondering about my calipers for some time now. If i paint em, im thinking either a red or silver color. Is repairing them with new parts pretty difficult?

Are they leaking, or the pistons binding? If not, just paint them.

Why oh why did you get cross drilled rotors?

A drill and a rotary wire brush (or two) should get them to a paintable point. Of course, starting with new/reman ones would be much less work, but you'll have to decide if it'd be worth the cost.
