I wanted to stop by and throw my 2 cents in on the forum. Last week, my BMW5 was totaled by someone who back out into me while I was driving down the road. It was a high miler that I had a while and was not planning on buying for awhile. Needless to say, It was totaled by the insurance company and I was thrown into the buyers market unexpectedly. I test drove all of the respective vehicles in the same class- MB Eclass, Infinity, BMW5. The Audi 6 was more than I wanted to pay and the Lexus GS was both scarce and a bit high $. A good buddy of mine works at a caddie dealership and I had hopes today went into see him. I figured I was going to focus on new body CTS/ ATS.
The first car he showed me, I was in love. I was looking for a later model certified CTs and he showed me a 2011 thunder gray premium with level 1 and 2 packages plus the 19" wheel. I AM BLOWN AWAY at the quality of the vehicle. It has 18,000 miles, trade in by older woman, original owner. The price is thousands less than I would have paid. The ride is like silk and it is silent. The interior quality is first rate. It blows away every car I tested. Detroit has a winner.
Flabbergasted and excited are the first two words that come to mind. I was hoping he had the answer, and he did- and he didn't even have to try and sell my the Gen 3. I can't wait to sign the papers !
