I was fortunate enough to drive a CTS for an hour and would highly recommend it. As far as luxury and performance it stacks up to any in its class. The deciding factor for me is the distinctive styling...I guess you either love it or hate it. The handling was very good. To wait for 3.6 is an option, but the 3.2 had plenty of zip. If performance is a big concern then wait for CTSv....that will be a monster!
