Im replacing my wires but I cant get 2 of the wires to fit in the hole. They dont fit in snug and stick out a bit. Anyone know what I can do?

A bit sketchy, but if the boot doesn't seem to go deep enough into the plug well, either shoot the interior of the boot with a tad of silicone spray or use a dab of ignition grease. If you have an old plug, use it to get a feel of what the boot feels like when it seats on the plug insulator. Compare the new wire boot with the old - same length ?

no the wires are not all the same length. I didnt put them in order in length wise does it really matter? I put the old wires in and they fit good. Would petroleum jelly work instead? Do you mean spray inside the spark plug wire or just around the long peice that goes in?

I think Sub is talking about the boot length. Maybe the clip that snaps onto the plug tip is pinched to tight to seat onto it.

Use an old plug, any plug, to get the connector inside the boot to fit properly. That spring connector clips onto the plug tit - as Ranger said, the connector may be slightly crushed and you need to open it a bit.

Unless that (those) plug boots fit correctly, you'll probably have a part-throttle or cruise miss. One bad connection and that spark loses intensity rapidly.

If enough water gets into the plug recess to do any damage, you're in one heck of a Kansas thunderstorm.............Push it all together and get the plug boots (the big cable ends) down as far as they will go onto the cam cover opening.
