I need to buy a new battery for my 77cdv, can anyone tell me what I should look for in a powerful battery? I'm gunna have 2 amps hooked up to it so if somebody can give me some suggestions that'd be awsome thanks

I always recommend Interstate batteries. The one in my '88 was replaced in '04 by the last owner and it is still going strong. When I put the car away for winter I disconnected the battery and just let it sit for 5 months. A few weeks ago I hooked it back up, turned the key and the car fired right up, didn't even have to charge it.

no reason to go with a yellow top unless you will be letting it discharge very low often. i.e. huge car stereo. just go red for normal starting. die hard platinums are nice but close to 200.00. interstates are good also.
