sup guys, i just wanna get your opinion on something
now i have an 04 CTS on smartbuy that's up in january
this car has every single option in it that it coulda had in 04 asides being an V
i really want to get an 08 but i don't think i can afford one with pretty much everything in it that i want even tho my dad says that smartleases tend to be cheaper then smartbuys (is that even tru?!)
so, should i keep my 04 for another year to save up or should i just get an 08 now basically with everything except navigation?!?
thanks in advance

The residuals are very aggressive on the '08. Check out the SmartBuy options, you might be surprised.

yeah but ok, my 04 was i think $43,700 when i got it, right around there and i pay $441 a month
for an 08 with pretty much everything in it is like $46,000-$47,000
i'm kinda skeptical that i can get it leased for around the same price
unless you know something i don't know lol

Did you put money down on the '04, or have a trade-in or something? I don't see how you could get a $441 monthly payment on a $44K purchase price with the residuals on the gen 1 CTS. Even at zero percent finance cost, you can't get to $441.

All other thing equal, the increased residuals will probably offset the increased MSRP. Try running the numbers at http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm.
