Bought a front splitter. Trying to figure out a good placement for the rods. I don't particularly want to drill into my bumper. Especially since there's no holes other than the factory holes. Are there any folks on here with front splitters and rods? Or do I even really need the rods? Or at least give me any ideas as to where I can mount them.

I would install them at the same angle of the sides of your upper grille but offset like 2 inches

(In VA I have gotten a ticket before for having my license plate in the front window like that. Then again my coworker has never installed his front plate nor gotten a ticket. He even told cops that he does not want to make his truck look ugly...)

Waiting for the day that happens... But as long as you're not driving like a d bag cops don't really mess with you. Actually I have no front plate my window tint is illegal and my windshield is tinted which is also illegal.
