Hello everyone. I'm a newcomer to this cadillac thing, so please be tolerant of my ignorance. A short while ago in a 1988 Eldorado the code
B-127 came up. Now this is OBD 1 right? Now the code no longer shows up. What does the code mean? I would like to know if this requires immediate attention as the car runs fine otherwise.
Thank you for your time.

It is PNP (park-neutral position) switch fault.
It is switch, what allows start the engine, gear only in park or neutral position.
If its not reappear, then its must be just dirty and give poor contact.

Thank you very much for the quick reply! I guess it's time to clean or replace the switch.
