I think those of us without Maggies should get a lawyer and file a class action against those who own them. After all, they have been taunting us for months with their stories of power gains and exotic kills. They have forced us to look at pictures of their polished intakes and fancy pulleys.

This isn't fair! They know, or should know, that such displays, made to a bunch of speed freaks and mod whores, can have only one result: driving us insane. Its like a casino handing out marketing literature at a Gamblers Annonymous meeting. To quote Johnny Cochrane, "It's ridiculous, preposterous, outrageous!"

We are victims. Its time to make them pay!:stirpot:

They do. I bought my car bone stock in JULY,..since then,..I lowered it before I even made it all the way home after I bought it,....intake manifold, ported throttlebody, ram air, cam, springs retainers, HID's, flywheel, clutch, diff brace, exhaust, shocks,brakes/slotted rotors., painted wheels.three sets of rear tires....hurst shifter,....ofcourse tint....tuneing... and alot of time and little stuff.

....all that and everyone here ate work asks me when I am going to stop, when is enough, enough?

I said the sky is the limit,...not to mention my limited budget :( .....I have a goal to make serious power,...and to me, right now, 400rwhp isn't enough power.

Dammit,...I can't wait to use these turbo's I have sitting in my tool box. :yup:

So If I'm at 427Rwhp and 378 Torque if I add a maggie witha 2.6 pully what type of a gain will I see? If it's good enough I guess I will just max the credit card

Who knows. Even with a 2.8 pulley, you should easily expect >100HP.

427rwhp is a heck of a ride though. I say enjoy that and make V owners proud. Adding a maggie on top of that...sheesh...see Lawfive's post above whereby your next mods might be repair after repair after repair, after repair...

I'm not sure, but I thought that there was a thread that suggested that going well over 200HP was a potential cause for concern for the motor. Are you sure the bottom end will take that much power? :bomb:

And what about heat; will the Maggie hold up on a track for 20 plus minutes?

Here are my track numbers from a few weeks ago (note I have the StealthV tune with my Maggie which made a very significant temp difference and it was a relatively cool couple of days)

...................Before.............After
.......Amb H2O Oil Trans H2O Oil Trans
Run 1 58 n/a .n/a n/a....194 231 190
Run 2 63 161 154 129....195 233 195
Run 3 65 134 129 118....190 230 195
Run 4 68 165 149 123....195 231 203
Run 5 54 136 120 107....206 217 190

Tire temps rose 5-6 degrees each run (S03 Pole Positions stock size)
Each run was 20 minutes
Top speed on main strait ~150mph

Well I guess it might be a bit to much if I do the blower. Anyone know if it could take the added power? or will I be looking at a lot of problems? Were does the power start for the maggie? Mine feels like stock till 4k rpm then it pulls like a monster.
