Does anyone have the hookup on these? Or know of a good place to get one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I bought an '05 V a few weeks ago and its doesn't have the disk. I was all excited because I've never owned a car with navigation before!! Can someone help me out?

I bought one when I got my car 1 1/2 years ago. Maybe used it a handful of times since. Feel like it was a waste of money then and def is now.

I use Waze or Google maps rather than the stock NAV 99% of the time.

Go to Navteq-Zenrin and order the Infiniti Navigation System (choose 2005 Q45 and use any applicable Infiniti VIN) and for $143 they will send you a program CD-ROM disc and the Map Version 6.11 (2013). Install the program CD. Relax because the process takes 45 minutes if you haven't done it before. The you can use the map data for your navigation needs. They appear to update the map data now every two years. When a new disc version comes out, I sell mine on eBay for about $95. zoz

I just ordered a disk for my 07 from www.gmnavdisc.com. i contacted Cadillac customer service and they recommended this site. Think it was $129.00. I agree that i would rather use Siri or google maps, but wanted to keep Nav functional

I've seen folks mention the Nissan/Infiniti nav compatibility before, but this is the first time I've seen actual details of what exactly is compatible. Thanks! Any chance you could post up the part number(s) off the disc you've got now? Had you done the GM system update on your '05 before you got the Infiniti discs?

I'm still using a 2009 GM disc, so it will definitely be nice to get a disc that is updated.

Before I dive head first into this... gmnavdisc shows for my 05 version 2009. I have 2007. But if the Infiniti software is version 2013 I'll wait for the compatibility info...

The 2013 works and you would not need to update your firmware.

I have it and run it in mine.

The nav disc that my car came with is a copy... pretty sure you can find one of those around the forums for a lot less than $100+...?

Nothing is changed in the appearance.

New data and new POI's.
