Ok i have searched the internet and these forums for the answers to these questions, please help.

1. Where do you buy a navigational unit for a 2001 Cadillac DHS? Used or new doesnt matter to me. I have searched ebay to no avail. Who is the manufacturer of this item?

2. Where do you buy a night vision LENS? I just bought the car and the night vision unit is installed but does not turn on and the front lens has a crack through it. Where would i look for the lens? I know the manufacturer is Delphi-Delco and Ratheon but can not seem to find any parts for it. I also cant find a new unit anywhere, not sure where else to look.

You're not alone! I have the exact sme problem except the crack was bad enough that I now need a new camera. The original camera is badly water damaged beyond repair.

Please let me know if you have any ideas about where to locate a camera.

not sure if this might be of help....u can contact them (at bottom of the page) and they might be able to stir u in right direction on locating it, from my understanding the lens is pricey....i just obtained a 2001 dts and it has it and when i was doing some research i stumbled on this....another source....would be a bone yard (proably slim, but worth a chance) alot of boneyards now have that computer search deal (if they dont have it they can locate it) good luck

The first design night vision camera is not serviceable and must be sent to an authorized service center for repair.

The second design night vision camera has a serviceable window. The second design camera can be recognized by the electrical connection near the window.

For Surfer Tom - do you happen to know of an authorized service center for the night vision camera as you mentioned in your reply? I think my camera is beyond all help, however. I may have to replace it entirely and need a suggestion as to where to find one. hoefully at a reasonable price, if possible.

I am currently talking with the actual makers of the camera - I think mine needs to be replaced too. But caddy wants 2500+ for the exchange - thats crazy!!! I can get better military night vision than that piece of crap for 2500. I will let you know what I find out.
