Weird thing happening lately with the V. I enter a destination and mysteriously the voice guidance does not come on. When I check the CONFIG screen, voice guidance is already selected. Yet if I turn it off and back on again, the voice suddenly starts working again. When I first got the car it always worked by default (unless I shut it off for some reason). Now, it seems to be happening more and more that it somehow shuts itself off by default (even though it's "on" in the CONFIG screen).

Anyone else had this problem?

I've had that happen occasionally or the voice only come on at the destination. I suspect that the TSB discussed about a year ago will fix that and many other minor electronic glitches in the nav system. I've avoided the TSB because you lose all your address book entries in the process. I have several dozen so the cure would be worst than the disease.

Thanks. I don't have a lot of entries so it won't be a big deal to me.
