Okay....first post guys. I have a 90 coupe deville that has a clunk in the front end that has started to get noticeable. I am assuming its in the brake system but would like to hear your thought. While driving and putting on the brakes there is a clunk clunk clunk sound that is tied to the speed of the wheels. It slows as the car slows. It even puts a clunk "feel" to the brake pedal as well. The car only has 48,000 miles. I was thinking CV joints but its sorta backwards (usually the clunk goes away with brakes applied). The car doesnt lurch with brakes appled either. Any ideas?
