Yes, my seat belt is buckled. There is never a warning on the DIC.
The tech told me today that a cell phone laying on the passenger's seat can set the seat belt chimes off. I will be keeping a close eye on that. As others on this forum have pointed out, this is a known issue.
I recently experienced a situation with both my left and right blinkers. They would not turn off unless I did it by hand. This only happened once with each blinker.
I talked to the service people at my dealership today. They feel the problem is that I don’t drive my car enough. It is a 2017 that I bought new last November. This is not a typo, but it only has 1,700 miles on it.
They feel the battery is stressed, and to put a battery tender on it. This will be my next step.
My Mother has a 2016 XTS and last winter her car would not turn over.
She has 7,600 miles on her car. Les Schwab came out and started the car, and we went to their store to have the battery tested. The battery was super low.
I feel the techs hit on something here, and that is the problem.
If anyone can recommend an excellent battery tender, it would be most appreciated.
Thank you!
