That sucks, should be a easy fix, some plastic tabs. As a side note.. i wonder if my transmission ever blows up (pray many many years from now, if I still have the car) if it would be possible to put the aisin 6speed in.....Mbai2 said:
My shifter boot came off...
I was shifting today (5MT) and heard a loud pop. I thought I had lost a gear but when I looked down my shifter boot was out of the center console. The thing just popped right off. The sound came from one of the tabs snapping off that held the boot on. WTF...
The part that broke was so moronic that it was funny to me. I guess it's back in the shop for my CTS. Atleast it wasn't my tranny that broke.
