My new '06 V - Pics

Whoa NAV system is upside down in the 2006's!? Sorry couldn't resist. So if the right side wheel buttons are for the stereo, where did the cruise control go? Blinker stalk? Black wheel inserts don't look right.

boy, i like the radio controls. gotta work on the g-meter!

I'm guessing that there's no reasonable way to retrofit this to an '04, huh? I suppose anything's possible if you're willing to spend the $$$

I think it might look good on a black car.

The LS-2 sounds very good ... very similar to the what I remember from the LS-6s I drove. I'm sure it's different in a side by side comparison, but from what I remember, very similar. The LS-2 is pretty quiet until you get on it .. then you start to hear a nice growl ..... The cruise buttons are on the blinker stalk and I do have pictures of the engine .. forgot to post. Will do that shortly.

After precisely 70 miles of driving it with RS-As in rain and sleet/snow, I'm not unhappy with them. Since the RS-As take such a beating here and elsewhere, I was fully prepared to smoke them off once I got the break in done and buy new ones, but so far, I'm not disappointed.

Glad to see the audio on the steering wheel...but your LS2 will never catch my LS6 :histeric:

definitly want some underhood pics and a closeup of the stalks please...
Also, a picture of the GM logo and some pictures of the rear diff area (and cradle) if you can get under there and take some pictures (it doesnt need to be jacked up or anything)...

Do you mid if I post on the FAQ?

hmmm.. I see a interference problem with the throttle motor and the jackshaft for the blower drive...

Isn't it illegal to drive a V in the rain? Oh, it's not black..

Interesting that the TB is 180 degrees turned from the LS6 (at least the ETC motor is).

Nice Strut tower brace - looks beefy.

I'll keep my old 04 though

interesting that they kept the dent on the engine cover yet moved the tower brace back about 6 inches. Also beefier. The snorkel is a redesign as well.

Reed - you can feel free to post to the FAQ .. I tried to register, not sure if I did it right or not.

What do you mean by the GM logo? If I just crawl under the back and take a shot of the rear diff from each side is that what you're looking for? I'll try to get those posted tomorrow ... Brad
