This summer, my Fleetwood was in not one, but two magazines. I submitted it to the Reader's Ridessection of Hot Rod, and it also turned-up in their sister publication Car Craft. Don't know if you guys saw it, or even care, but I'll post it anyway for something to do. :yup:

Very nice! It's awesome seeing Caddies, especially D bodies in Hot Rod and Carcraft!

I'm familiar with both the articles, but have a question.

Why, in the last one, did they think you used Escalade center caps with your SS wheels? Mis-information, or they just didn't read what you wrote?

I think after they printed it in Hot Rod, my original information got lost when it went to Car Craft, so they just kind of guessed on the centercaps. They thought "MO" was Montana, too. It just got lost in translation a little bit. :)

Good going!! Now more people are going to want these cars, and that means higher prices for us. :annoyed:
j/k
That's pretty cool!! :)
Still don't think that will ever be true, because it still seems to remain that Caprices and Impalas are the most wanted of all, to this day.

Couldn't even begin to understand why, especially when you can have a fully loaded Fleetwood Brougham for the same price as a beat up Caprice sometimes...

Must just be the Impala SS imitation factor, I guess.

Still, don't worry about the prices of these cars going up even one iota.

The only people who know about them even existing are few and far between (and we here make up a pretty large chunk of that little group). Plus, like I said before, the fascination with dime a dozen Caprices still continues because everybody and their brother wants an Impala SS, real or fake.

I think even Roadmasters are technically more sought after than Fleetwoods, because they're the next closest in size and shape to the Caprice.

Lately, I've been REALLY tempted by a lot of different B-body wagons I've looked at, mostly all Buicks, but I still can't figure out what I would want more: a huge cargo bay, 3rd seat, and that "griswald's" feel for a typically lower price, or another '93+ Fleetwood for a bit more dough, but with more class and style (relatively speaking).
