Scored my best 0 to 60 yet. My prior best was 4.04 but now that we got my tune dialed in for 98 octane and played with the launch control a little I got this today.
I worked with Steven at Trifecta to first get my 98 tune dialed in and then fine tune the factory launch mode (factory launch with tune power) to eliminate any hesitation or wasted power in wheel spin. I can't use the Trifecta launch on the street and no drag radials unless I just want to create tire smoke.

Michelin PS4s at factory pressure. Rear tires are 285-35-18

Measured by OBDLink performance monitor using OBD and GPS. I'll say this is about as accurate as it gets for 0-60 since its monitors throttle, wheel speed, and GPS. My prior launches usually landed me between 4.20 and 4.35 with a best of 4.04. This run was first launch with a suitcase in the trunk and full tank of gas. No tire warming other than driving. Road surface was highway tarmac with temps around 85.

These are great numbers. When you talk about "working with", does that mean Trifecta will finetune the tune for each customer or are they using your tune as a development mule to make this a production version?

They will work with you if you request. The base tune is the base tune unless you're having problems and then they'll check your logs to see what's happening. If you change your octane or some other major power adder they will work to tweak the tune for better use of that change.

Street always faster for me than track, tires dig into rough surface VS a treated track, unless I was going to run slicks. Also, Sport mode launch control seems better than Track Mode on Trifecta Tune.
I've tried them all, Track race was the best. If you have a Trifecta tune sport mode launch is full boost and all you do is spin tires.

You're traction limited to get a faster 0-60, not power limited.

My 305s have got me down in the low 3 second range on the street.
Yes and no. The key is to get the power to come on the right way to keep from breaking lose on the launch. Once your rolling power needs to come on smooth till you get to second gear then full boost. Launch is perfect now so can't wait to try when I don't have luggage and a full tank of gas.

305's would make it easier though.

Kind of bummed I had a lot of rain last few days. Today there is no rain forecasted so I'll give it a rip after work and see how she does with no luggage and less then half a tank of gas.

Leesrt, I've got just the thing to get you down in super low 0-60 times and they are for sale. Tire Alloy wheel Automotive tire Wheel Rim
Rim Alloy wheel Wheel Product Auto part
The Hoosier 315 30 18 have three passes on them, the stock coupe rims are widened to 10.75". My coupe ran 1.52 sixty foot with these tires and rims. It was expensive to buy rims and get them widened plus the tires but I will sell them for $1K [that includes $200 to ship them to Florida from California. Interested? You can e-mail me [email protected]
