I have 1408 miles from 14 miles originally. The P performed flawlessly. Once I crossed michigan/Indiana border I turned it to 2wd. No problems so far. ACC is a must!

My hypermiling days are eminently over! Just cruising around town I'm seeing 12mpg.

BTW, does the platinum come with two sets of remote and two pairs of headphones?

Oh, ok. Now that you said that, I guess the other box of headsets and remote is for the headrest DVD's. My kids where trying to figure out why the big remote doesn't work on the headrest dvd's. Thanks!

Just turned 3001 miles on my 21 day old 2015i platinum. Performing as expected. It's a winner in my books!

Just turned past 5000 miles. In closed road coarse(;)), the escalade topped out at 112mph? Wth? That's my 2003 Honda Pilot territory? Even my 2014 MB GLK350 4matic has 130mph! My 2013 Range Rover Sport forget it it has a 155mph speed limit. I would think that GM keep it V rated territory?

Is this engine monitored to keep it from going any faster?

I got a pop up message saying limited to 112! Can't be the DI as my RRS is also DI.

----------

Btw the speed warning in the dash is up to 160 mph.

On the backside of the base is where I saw the gap in the gasket and filled it with clear silicone sealant......have not seen any evidence of water leakage!
I know there is a hole in the backside of the base but did not want to put silicone after it has passed thru several car washes and the touch less very high pressure wash. If there is a way to pop it out and apply the silicone when I pop it back in place would be good.

----------

BTW, there was no vibration guaranteed at any speed in my P up to 112mph!

For cadillac to gain the German liking crowd, it should have made the escalade post some higher top end and not speed limited it to 112mph. To erase the geriatric mentality the top end should have been made at least 155mph;)

Well.....i came from 8 yrs of Mercedes....top end?? I don't go there.....oh sure, I punched it up and briefly touched 120 but , reality...nope don't need that and if this Escalade that I now own won't go any faster than 112......I'm never gonna regret it anyway! Yes.... I do like to cruise at 75 - 80 , but 112 in truck....or anything on these roads and in this country...nope! Now my Corvette might do 180 + , but I'm not going there either!:)

Well my 2011 Range Rover Sport was limited only up to 130 mph. I'm glad I traded it for a 2013 Range Rover Sport L320 and they upped the speed limiter to 155mph for the final edition L320.
