My CTS Vsport premium is a year old with a little less than 12k miles, and has been trouble free. I mainly drive it to work and back, and it has never been wrecked or abused. This morning when I started it up in the garage to leave for work, I got multiple error messages including: "Service differential, " "cannot tension seatbelt," traction conrol off," "stabiltrack off," and others, but no reduced power warning. While driving to dealer, the transmission would not shift past 3rd gear. Needless to say, I am concerned and wonder if any other owners have experienced such a problem? I will keep this forum posted.

I just spoke with dealer who stated "no stored codes," even though admit they saw the multiple messages and experienced the non-shifting issue. WTF?

I had a somewhat similar experience in my 2013 Corvette. In my case the messages were "Service Active Handling" and "Service ABS". It still drove fine with no tranny issues. Turned out to be a front wheel speed sensor, but it did throw a code so probably not your problem. Maybe the dealer should reflash the computer. Good luck!

Dealer was able to reproduce multiple error messages after another test drive, and now has concluded that tire wear (which has previously been commented upon by others) has lead to out of round tire(s) setting off suspension sensors. I guess I will spring for a set of new tires (not OEM) and see if they are correct. If not, I will deal with that when I cross that bridge.

Kind of weird to log on the forum and see this after experiencing a similar rash of error messages on my 2014 CTS V-sport Premium the last few days.

My car is 11 months old and has 8,000 miles on it.

Saw "service differential," "Stabilitrak off," a fast litany of error messages that went so fast I could not record them all but centered around the radar system (reverse camera off, adaptive cruise control not working, forward alert not working, lane assist not working, cross-traffic not working, etc).

My car has been trouble free until this point and I need to find time to visit my dealer.

Finally got the car back today after dealer ordered and installed new tires, which I paid for. Installed the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position RFT that have a much better wear rating than the OEM tires. Car operated normally but I have not had a chance to evaluate tires as to road noise, grip etc.

I have just experienced a similar event: traction control, stability control off, followed by rear transaxle failure, followed by headlight error and breaks. Then the car lost power and limped for a few seconds. Then things started improving and I safely arrived home with only TC and stability control off. After turning the car on and off the messages disappeared. Was it an issue caused by cold weather? It should not happen. My car had some work done by the dealer prior to delivery, as they noticed some electronics issue. The car had only a few miles on the odometer, but it sat on the lot for a while. I hope they can fix the problem.

How many miles when this occurred and how are the tires?

The car has 870 miles on it. The tires are ok, I suppose. It was a cold day. The next day the car functioned normally on my way to work, but messages appeared again on my way back. I turned the engine off and it would not start again with dark instrument cluster. I have called roadside assistance and the technician was able to start the engine. He rebooted the computer. It was possible to drive home (1 mile). In the end he called for the tow truck and the car is currently at the dealer.

My car is still at the dealer. Initially the could not find anything wrong and no error messages were stored. After talking with the roadside assistance technician and with GM they are going to replace some computer modules. I am frustrated and worried about my purchase. For now I get to drive a loaner ATS 2.0T.

My car has had a nagging "let me brake for you" issue often times in reverse, sometimes in drive (at low speeds) - also, I too have had a few times when a few of the major "service now" indicators have come on. Sort of nerve racking.

The braking in reverse thing is down right annoying and not safety oriented at all (unless of course you are Mr. Magoo).

One more gripe as well as a question. How is everyone's QUE? Specifically, how is the on screen display of traffic flow. Mine always takes 4-6 minutes to activate. I took it to the dealer with this problem (as well as automatic brake issue) - dealer said no issue with auto brake (nonsense) and they "updated" the CUE so it is now 4-6 minutes from 7-10 minutes.

I love my car but at $72K this is not good -

Please let me know if anyone has these issues -

Many thanks!

Finally, after 2 more than two weeks of waiting I got my car has been fixed. Dealer was able to replicate the error messages while driving the car. In the end two control modules, including chassis control module were replaced per GM's suggestions. So far so good. I enjoyed driving the car today after being forced into the base loaner ATS 2.0T.

Well, the saga has not ended for me. The car started acting up again on March 20th with loss of power steering, loss of power and inability to shift. When I finally got to the dealer the check engine light was the only symptom. The dealer kept the car for a week and replaced "chassis control module" if I recall correctly. I picked up the car last Friday and drove it happily for about 10 miles. On Saturday morning there was another episode of power loss, rough shifting and the electronic system displaying all kinds of error messages. The back up camera quit working and it was impossible to open the trunk. This time I manged to drive to the dealer with all these messages on. I have also managed to take a some pictures and video clips with my cell phone. I am really losing my patience by now. This is my 4th GM car (2 Saabs and CTS) but this vehicle starts looking like a big mistake. Any suggestions?
