Today i brought my car around behind the school to where my shop class is. As i went over a speed bump the muffler fell off :highfive: and i stopped the car pulled it off... well i brought the car in and as i was i hammered down on it and it sounded so nice! It was like my dads SSR only 20 times louder:yup: . And when i left the school lol i left a nice long dual line burnout and alot of kids shaking their heads in disbelief!:yup: Plus as i was going down the roads i usually travel the instant mpg is between 18 and 22 now it was running at 23-26!!! No lie! Im thinkin about going into a junkyard and find a wrecked vette with borla SPL loudmouth pipes and put one of them on! if not ill just get a muffler clamp and put a straight pipe on with a chrome 3 inch tip! I hooked a glasspack up to it but it wasnt all that loud it made it quieter but had a deep tone to it. I reccomend it to anyone who wants a truley unique hotrod sounding caddy. What happened was the muffler clamp rotted away so after going over the speed bump it just fell off.

Isn't there a bit of a highway drone though? I have always found that no muffler cars do sound cool at idle and accelerating, but the droning sound of just cruising on the highway gets really annoying. To each his own though, I'm sure it doesnt bother some people either. :)

its got somewhat of a drone. I dont mind it much tho. And when it downshifts it sounds pretty cool too. I like shifting the tranny like floor it through 1st 2nd 3rd and then putting it in drive. It sounds real nice. I think i can easily install an aftermarket vette exhaust. I have a pipe bender and i can fabricate my own brackets. It does sound sweet with out the muffler tho.
