I was wondering how much would a block heater cost to be installed

Unless you move to Fairbanks, Alaska and keep the car outdoors there, there's really no reason for a block heater. Today's 0W - XX and 5W - XX engine oils make easy cold weather startup and instant lubrication a fact of life. Today's cooling systems and temp controls make quick warmup a fact, also.

Remote starters cause more engine wear and tear, plus cold oil sludge buildup, than a startup - fast idle - driveaway sequence. Engine oil requires about 10 miles of driving to properly warm up and flow. Might as well save the fuel mileage and hit the road instead of letting it idle in the driveway.
