I believe that the factory 16 x 7 wheels have an offset of 35.
The aftermarket 18 x 8's I like to use have an offset of 42.
Is there a calculator I can use to determine how much farther the new wheels will stick out?
I figured it this way, but want to make sure I am correct:
The new wheels are 25.4 mm wider.
Half of that is 12.7.
The offset difference is 7.
12.7 - 7 is 5.7.
The new wheels will stick out 5.7 mm, or .224 inches.

Make sense, or am I forgetting something?

New wheels (maybe):

When speccing my 18s (from the stock 17*7.5s) I used that site. Incidentally, I got 18*8 with 42mm offsets of a different design and they fit pretty much flawlessly. No clearance issues whatsoever, with a slightly (but noticeably) more aggressive stance.
