I think it is an absolute outrage.

Me, myself and Irene (chevy caprice dumped in to the river)
Terminator 3 (whole lot caprices blown up and a wrecked Cadillac hearse)
2 fast 2 furious(same)
X men and X2 (same)
Tin men (wrecked Cadillacs)
Payback (Really nice head-on wrecked 87-89 Brougham)
Matrix:Reloaded (Early 70's Eldorado shot and damaged)
Ok I know Eldo is not big body, but you know what i mean so get off my @$$
Casino (eldorado blown up)
Blues Brothers-second movie (see T3, Xmen, 2fast 2furious)
Romeo must die (Caddie limo trashed)

The list, of course is far from complete. Why Cadillacs, people:mad:
Who can tell me of one movie where Fords and lincolns get trashed and no, Steven Segal's "above the law" doesn't count, the car was still driveable.

Ok, "robocop 3", but that's IT:shocked2:

Fords arent cool enough to even be thought about being blown up. If their going to go down, they need to go down in style.

I was watching a rerun of Walker, Texas Ranger, and there is this one episode where they shot and blow up like 3 or 4 late 80's Broughams :shakes fist:

Wonder how many Caddys they used for Ghost Busters

The worst was 3000 miles to Graceland. Cherry Red/White 59 Coupe Deville. First smakes a ceoyte and spins off into a ditch. Then While on the run they roll it into a river. Although if you look close I think it's a 4 door that was guted and repainted. I wept during that scene. Then they pick up a very clean early 90's Caprice, trash the hell out of it in a car chase and flip it over.

Don't forget the movie "Pink Cadillac" When that door was ripped off I was bawling!!! I like Eastwood but I hated him in that movie. I mean what did the car ever do to him.

Don't forget "Terminal Velocity" where they roll a beautiful " Give me a Ticket Red Cadillac Allante" out the rear of a cargo plane. Charlie Sheen saves the girl in the trunk in a free fall, but the Allante ends up a pancake in the desert from a 10,000 foot drop. They used 11 Allantes in that movie. I guess they had to get just the right shot to make that movie. What a shame! :(

The Allantes mentioned that were flattened in Terminal Velocity were supplied by an individual from Tucson who supplies cars and other props for movies. He is an Allante collector who has 30-40 Allantes including several of the last ones (including some that were incomplete) that came off the line in Italy.

Haven't you ever noticed that they always pick the coolest cars to trash up? I mean who's gonna care if they smash up a geo metro or a ford pinto. No ones gonna care if they smash up crap cars, that's why they get the best, such as vettes, camaros, caddys, shelby mustang, chargers. Although I love my friend's '62 lincoln, caddys are way cooler and they rule.

Anytime you get to see massive amounts of GM products being destroyed is just fine by me

I strongly agree!

I don't mind seeing newer GM's getting destroyed. They need to be recycled into something more useful like a beer can. It's seeing the classics getting trashed that makes me sick.

My two worst are "Wise Guys" and some flick with one of the Baldwins and Cindy Crawford.
"Wise Guys" had the stunning '59 ragtop (my dream machine) utterly destroyed.
"Don't touch the dash, don't touch the chrome, don't touch the upholstry, don't touch nothing ! !" (or something like that) was a great line by Frank the Fixer (Captain Lou Albano)
The Baldwin Crawford escapade ran a beautiful '69 or '70 convert into a telephone pole at speed.
Ouch.
And yes, Tinmen made me cry. :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:
