I just installed a More CAI on my stock platinum '04 with 26K. It went in easy enough but there is only about 1/2 inch of clearance between the MAF plug and the belt pulley. Has anyone else had this issue? Will it be o.k. as is or is there something that can be done to increase this clearance.
Performance wise, it certainly improved throttle responce but it makes less intake noise at low RPM than I was anticipating and also less than my old '01 E55 and '00 540. I may have to add an exhaust to achieve the amount of noise I am looking for. Any opinions?
Thanks.

You should have no clearance problems. Your 0.5 inch clearance will remain constant with motor rpm changes. In my non-More CAI, my clearance is about 0.1 inch, and there has been no rubbing on the pulley since installation about 20K miles ago.
