Monroe Magnum Gas Shocks on Gen 2 Escalade?
Have any of y’all put Monroe magnum Gas shocks on the rear of your Clades? I’ve been looking for shocks not quire so firm as the Belltech SPs now on my '06. Found out the rear shocks for Dodge Sprinter 2500 have the same mounting code (LS47/LS47, 9/16" X 1 5/8" upper and lower eyelets) and 8" travel, but are a couple inches shorter expand/collapse length than Tahoe OE shocks. Sprinter and base 06 Escalade also have almost the same curb weight. So I'm thinking they will fit a 2/4” lowered Escalades; but I don’t know if they will improve ride quality. Do ya'll know if they are less stiff than SPs. Anyone?

You are probably in unchartered territory here with those specific shocks for the 2500 sprinter vans.

Fortunately the shocks are super simple to replace in the rear and generally are pretty cheap, especially compared to the air shocks that were factory. Check the return policy where you buy the shocks. If you can install them without marking them up if they don't work, you can always return them.
