So im scheduled tuesday to get the michelin cross climate 2s put on the escalade. ill be going back to the stock 285/45/22 size. i just got the pirelli as3s and i really like them and will be installing them on the original rims. the black dub skillz rims that ive been using are 10 plus pounds lighter than the stock rims and are factory spec rims so no adaptors or spacers needed and the michelins will be 7lbs lighter per tire so 17lbs roughly per wheel savings. i noticed a difference in the steering being lighter when i got the new rims so im curious to see if i can feel any difference after i swap tires.
what does everyone think of the weight savings benefit if any?
