My 09 CTS4 started making a loud metalic noise coming from my left front wheel, it gets louder when I turn the wheel and sounds like scratching when I apply the brakes. I've got a little over 26K on the car, could this be brakes at such low mileage? I'm taking it in on Friday so I'll know then, just curious if anyone else has experienced this.

you should really take that wheel off and look at your rotors, brakes.. just see what's going on under there.

When I was young (wasn't even a teenager yet), my sister's boyfriend was an *******. I put a bunch of rocks in his wheels.. (I know, I know) and when he drove off that noise your describing kinda reminded me of when I was a kid. Not that any of that is relevant or pertained to you, I was just sharing a moment. But yea, take the wheel off and look for rough surfaces.
