I decided to put side moldings on my 2010 SRX. I got the drivers side going downhill by several inches. I guess my bifocals didn't help any. Anyway, does anyone know if there is a way to remove them and reposition them?

I was able to get them off with a hair dryer and a plastic putty knife. No damage to the paint or the side moldings. I reinstalled them with trim glue from Autozone.

Close call! Glad to hear that you were able to get it fixed without any damage.

The auto body shops just peel/pull them off and use a chemical adhesive remover that works fast to get off the old glue/adhesive. They work on one to two feet sections at a time to remove the old adhesive, a quick rinse with cold water, so the paint and clear coat remain intact. Must be powerful stuff but safe if used correctly.
