Mazda launches special edition 2006 RX-8

Mazda announced Tuesday two upgraded versions of the RX-8 sports car for the Japanese market - the Rx-8 Sport Prestige Limited II, and an enhanced standard Rx-8.
The Sport Prestige Limited II is a new version of the upgrade package introduced in 2004, and features an upmarket interior with alcantara and leather seats and an exclusive sand beige color scheme, and exterior enhancements including the Copper Red Mica body color exclusive to this model. Running gear enhancements include stiffer shocks, 18-inch wheels, large diameter disc brakes, and a front suspension stiffening brace. The Japanese-market price is about $27,500.
