Hello. I would like to invest in spacers. I think it just looks better. I have (in Germany approved) for my 08 CTS 18 "Borbet XRT rims on it. I mean I have the big brakes mounted (if it is important to know).

May someone tell me what the maximum possible spread is without swapping the studs?

Maybe even ne purchase recommendation? :)

1) Remove one wheel nut
2) Thread nut back on until tight while counting the turns
3) Multiply the number of turns by 1.5 and subtract 14

The remainder is your maximum spacer thickness that still allows minimum thread engagement with the oem studs. It's probably between 5-10mm.
