Just wondering if 315/35/24 tires would fit on the 2002-2006 Escalades, I think i've seen a set of 24s with 315/35/24 on the classifieds here, but that was on a 07'. Is anyone running these?

If you crank up the torsion bars in front 315/35-24s should fit. They may rub in the rear when going over bumps, but may not. 305/35-24s may even rub or require the torsion bars be cranked up a little.
Ouch, I was hoping to lower the front torsion bars after the install. Oh well, wheels are already purchased, cant do much now.

Don't get me wrong, they may fit without issues. Most typically from my experience 305/35-24s are tight but fit. At the least you will have to slightly modify the plastic fender liners.

As long as the wheel is the proper fitment you may not have any issues.

305/35/24 is fine for 2002-2006.
x2 ^^ , it is the recommended tire size for 24" wheels for te 02-06 escalades, also 305 are wide enough, i dont see the point of going with even wider tires. either way congrats on the wheels and post up pix as soon as you mount them

I am using 305/35/24s and it already rubs. Of course, I trimmed the inner plastic fenders, but the front hits the metal front of the running boards. I took off the wheels and hammered in the metal part a bit, so it clears most of it, but it still rubs a tiny bit! Doesnt hurt anything though.

Anyways, I believe the "offset" of the rims come into play at this point too!

Post pics when you get them installed. We would like to know if it works out or not.

I've been wondering if anyone had run a 40 series tire with 24's? Any major issues? Its only about 7 tenths of an inch bigger that 35 series tires.

Talked to the guys at Superbuytires.com. They told me the 40 series tires wouldn't work. Ordered 24" Dub Big Homies with Pirelli 305/35/24. Will let you guys know how it works out.
