The CTS and CTS-V use a 5x120 mm bolt pattern.

I have a CTS-V sedan. I know CTS owners sometimes use CTS-V wheels which have the following specs:
Bolt Pattern............5x120 mm
Hub Size..................67.1 mm

Front Wheel Width......9.0 inch
Front Wheel diameter...19 inch
Front Wheel Offset.......51 mm

Rear wheel Width........9.5 inch
Rear wheel Diameter...19 inch
Rear Wheel Offset........56 mm

The CTS-V Coupe has wider rear wheels (10.0 inch) with a 40 mm offset.

Also, many CTS-V owners use an 18-inch wheel for the track (18-inch tires are cheaper and more available than our stock 19-inch size). The 18-inch track wheels I use are 18x9.5 (9.5 inches wide) with a 40 mm offset. I don't know for sure if those would work on a CTS but I would assume so since the CTS can use the stock CTS-V wheels.

Although I use track wheels with a 40 mm offset - Best fit 18"x9.5" wheel on my car is with a 45 mm offset. That size is available from several manufacturers.

I hope this is helpful.

We have a '10 CTS wagon with 3.6/all wheel drive. It's new-to-us. Love it!
Can we stagger the rims and tires?
I see reference to using Cadillac rims on BMW cars. Interesting. Stored away for a while in the basement, we have aftermarket rims that were on our BMW M3/SMG/Dinan cabriolet. They would look cool on the Wagon!
Need the specs...wish I had a reference site that would tell me what size fits on what car....

I don't believe you would want staggered rims/tires on AWD.

From my understanding you can stagger rims on all wheel drive cars as long as you keep the over all diameter of the wheel and tire the same. Also need to make sure the rotations per mile or kilometre are the same as stock :)

DaveL,

If you would like, I live near Hamilton and come out to Toronto a lot. I could set you up with my tire and rim guys. They are hands down amazing and work wonders.

Check out Tirerack.com, any wheel or tire they recommend will be the correct size and offset for your car. There are lots of options in both 19" and 20" they also list offsets. I suggest you call your Caddy dealer to get the OE offsets, which will most likely be different for 17' and 18". Keep in mind as you go up in size you will add some weight, try to stay with the lightest wheel you can, assumiong you like the style. Also you need to keep as close as possible to the OE outside tire diameter. The OE dia for the 235/50/18 is 27.25". Going up to 3% of that dia is acceptable. my choice for a 19" would be 235/45 with a dia of 27.32", pretty close , The recommend 20" is 245/40 with a dia of 27.72" about 2% bigger, but not my preference...getting into truck tire size. I'd rather do 245/35/20 dia of 26.75" about 2% smaller

Good luck

Not to high jack the thread but I'm looking at new wheels (again) and have some questions myself. I'm currently running 20x8.5 rims with 245 35r20 tires. The new wheels im looking at are 20x9 +40 or 20x8 +35, which ones should I go with? I'll be using the same 245 35r20 tires untill they are toast. I'd prefer the 20x9 but idk how that will jive with the tires I have or car. What tires should I run with a 20x9 rim?

Would 265/30 10inch width rear
245/30 9 inch width front work on my 2008 cts sedan
Without knowing the wheel diameter or the wheel offset it's impossible to answer your question. And check the Appearance Mods forum for the thread that is devoted to nothing but pictures of various wheels on CTSs, with the wheel specs and tire sizes usually included as well. That thread should give you plenty of fitment information.

Max Tire Size

I'm looking to put new rims and tires on my 2010 CTS4 AWD and I would like to know if I can get 18" or 19" tires to fit without and modifications?

(Moderator edit: Your CF account is activated. Please update your profile to show correct personal information.

You can run any tire size you want as long as you stay very close to the original tire outside diameter - revolutions per mile for speedo and engine calibrations - and section / tread width to prevent rubbing. Your original tire sizes are on the driver's door sticker. Compare their specs to the desired tire specs in www.tirerack.com.)

Just make certain that you have the correct offsets.

I just purchased a 2011 CTS AWD. Previous owner installed wheels off an AWD coupe.
They are 235/50R18 Front
and P265/45/R18 Rear
They show to be off by .5% in size.
