Hey all been having issues with my exhaust making a metal to metal slapping sound, gonna take it in tomorrow and see if the guy can help me diagnose it. I believe the V Mufflers that I have, one muffler is bad, as when the engine is off, i can hit it and hear a small rattle. If this is this case I was thinking about going with Magnaflow Mufflers, he said installed im looking at about $300, is this reasonable? Or does it sound like I should go somewhere else? My exhaust setup would then be like this, V-Pipes all the way back to an xpipe, with magnaflow mufflers. What do you all think?

two mufflers? reuse the tips? sounds like a pretty fair price.
If you're going to get rid of the V exhaust, try gutting it first though & see if that will get rid of the rattle. Drill a hole in each muffler, pull out 50-75% of the fiberglass packing & plug the hole.
If you don't like it, no biggie b/c you'll be swapping to magnaflows anyway--but it could potentially save you 300 bucks & increase your exhaust note some.
