The car is very comfortable, real smooth and very responsive. Averaged around 18.5 MPG. Seemed like gas mileage improved around 10 percent when I got down south and got away from the winter gas or maybe it was the warmer air, not really sure. The car now has 2300 miles. This car has lot's of storage for a fairly small car. Realized when I backed it into my garage here in Fla it is actually a little less long than my old Pontiac G8GT, I was surprised. Strange because the CTS-V sedan I had felt bigger for some reason. No rattles or anything. Has developed a rear end gear whine at around 50 mph when on the gas, seems to be getting more noticable as the miles pass by, no biggie though. Strange because the Sedan I had did the same only around 40 MPH and then again at 80 MPH. Not even going to bother changing the gear lube or anything. On the Sedan doing so did nothing to help the rear end noise. No wheel clicking on this car, on the 2013's they must be putting the new lugs on them. The NAV seems a little quirky, sometimes was calling I4 here in Orlando 400, strange. It is very slow also, could use a faster processor. The Stereo has good sound, I recorded a lot of my CD's onto the hard drive during the 3 day drive. Heres a picture of the car when I got to Florida, not the greatest picture, will take some better pics once I get the car detailed. The Black Diamond is Ok, it was not my first choice I do like the Opulent Blue better, but I took this car because it was in dealer stock. Maybe it will grow on me in time, still have not seen the car much in sunshine, it has been mostly cloudy since I've had the car including today here in Florida.

Congrats on finally receiving your wagon after all those months of waiting and sorry you didn't get the OBM you really wanted. (Good for me, though, keeps that blue nice and rare! :) ) If the BDM really bothers you, you can always go for a full body wrap in OBM.

I was also pleasantly surprised at how little it can look, as the design is very tidy and efficient in the rear. Lots of room in the hatch, though. I've already used mine to haul wheels/tires, which was more of a chore in the sedan.

Happy you made it! I'm sure it was a great ride. If it helps make sense, I-4 is also known as State Road 400, I-95 is State Road 9, and 17-92 is also known as State Road 600. At least now you know! Where are you exactly? I wonder how close you are to me.

Thanks all, I started detailing the car last night when I got home (lol, I didnt waste any time) looks great now. I'll take another picture, the real good pictures will come when I start using my regular camera rather than my Galaxy S phone. I just jumped in the car a while ago to hook up my nextbook tablet to see if my suspicions were founded that this thing has a real good audio chip for a el cheapo tablet (79 bucks at wally world), it sounded so good with the headphones, yep, hooked it up to the 3.5 jack and it sounds awesome in the CTS-V, better than my Galaxy phone, so think I'll use this for music now. Going to put a little velcro on to hold it on the dash for when I'm not driving (sitting waiting, etc) for watching music videos. These things must be hurting sales of built in DVD head units, they are amazing, the picture quality is pretty incredible too. Lovin the car though, when I drove down my road this mourning I could see all looks of jealousy on all my neihbors faces, lol.

Trap, I live in Venice Fl, not too far from Bradenton Raceway :)

This picture cracks me up, stopped off at the caddy dealer here in Venice Fla to see about getting a early oil change (car has 2500 miles on it now) and I saw this car parked on the lot in front, definately a florida car. It's a XTS with a roof mod, don't really like the look of the car, just thought it looked kinda odd.

Oh god, someone did a landau top on their XTS? I wish someone would kill that 70's idea with fire! Make it stop!

Next time I'm back at the dealer I'll look at the window sticker on that XTS and see how much extra it cost to destroy that car, lol.
That looks like the Charlotte County Limited Edition model. It would be better suited there! (Sorry guys. It's a Florida joke) :p

Venice is actually Sarasota county. Ya know I've been thinking about that Florida edition, it's kinda growing on me. I think I'm going to drop the black diamond Vagon off the dealer and get a purple custom top done on it with chrome accents, should look great :)

This is why we can't have nice things.

That Wagon looks "bad", I forget which mag Motor Trend or Car & Driver, they loved their loaner CTS-V Wagon and didn't want to give it back. Hope you have good luck. As far as the Landau Roofs go I though some of the cars from the 70's looked better with 'em. My mom had a black '77 Biaritz that would have looked weird without it of course that car was totally over the top with "stuff", see photos, I drove the XTS which I really liked but with that top it belongs in the crusher!
