If I were you....do not install a home charger as of yet. Good things coming. (All we can say for now)
I got a free 240V wall charger from Cadillac when I purchased my 2014 ELR. Problem, though, was that I couldn't schedule the installation until
after I took delivery of the car. So I had this wonderful ELR sitting in my garage for two months waiting for permits, electricians, hardware, etc. while charging at 110V! If you've got the cash to install the wall charger and you want to be able to charge your new EV right away, you may not want to wait.
