So regarding this...
Cadillac also announced a private offer of $5000 for Lyriq customers that ordered between 5/18/22 – 11/30/22 for the 2023 Lyriq. There will be a manifest list sent to the dealers that they will go off of and reach out to the customer to let them know.
... is this only for unfulfilled 2023 model year orders that need to roll to 2024? Or, is it goodwill for all orders placed in that timeframe because they were late in delivering (or horrible with communication, or whatever)? In other words, for 2023 model year orders that will be made as 2023's, does this apply?

I also don't understand the long window. Pre-ordering was only possible on May 18 and 19th (in the US). Everything else after that was wait-list (or 2024 pre-order). I assume that isn't included in this?

A few points, as I've been thinking about this also...
  • DE price isn't the same as 2023 RWD. DE was $59,990. Cadillac raised the price $3K for 2023.
  • Both DE and 2023 RWD have the option for 22" wheels. These are were a $1500 option. For 2024, they are included in Lux 3. So the pricing is a bit different comparison based on wheel selection - not just RWD/AWD
  • You didn't show the Tech trim, but if anyone selects that at $58590, with an additional $5000 off, that is way cheap (comparatively speaking)
Yeah, I forgot that they were different. I updated the language on the google sheet.

  • I updated the google sheet to remove the DE language. Just 2023 on there now.
  • I didn't add the option for the 22in wheels in there as I was going with lowest cost to entry for the different trims. But you make a good point.
  • I did include the tech trim in my google sheet for those looking at it. I only included the luxury 2 and 3 trims in my comparison since they were the two closest to the 2023 features. I also omitted the sport trims since those are just an extra $500 for all levels on the 2024 models.

First time poster here, but been lurking forever... I'm really looking forward to diving deeper into this amazing community.
I'm a June, 2022 reservation holder. My email reservation subject line from Cadillac reads "You’ve successfully pre-ordered your LYRIQ". So, based on Jason's earlier post, I'm assuming that "pre-order" qualification applies to those who have placed an online reservation within the stated time frame no matter the current order status. 🤞

The big question is, if you preordered a 2024, does that count? No one really knows here, we just have to wait until more information comes out.

I'm still in Daytona....on my way back to Indy. Reached out to our Cadillac rep. More or less if you ordered a 23/24 before reservations were closed, you should qualify for the $5k. I'm still awaiting further clarification. But being on the manifest list provided by Cadillac gets you the assurance you need. Should have additional details in the coming days.

Many thanks for the info. So the question would still be, if you are getting a 2023 (which isn't being rolled over to 2024), does the $5000 apply for those 2023 fullfilled orders - or only unfulfilled orders? I guess you could tell that from your 2023 vehicles which you have allocations for - if those customers are on this manifest list or not.

They should be on that list. Cadillac had an internal issue with the list. Not out yet from what I hear.

I'm sure this is wishful thinking, but does this mean people with a 2023 allocation will get the $5,000 credit as well?! I'm early in line with my dealer here in SoCal and and extra $5,000 off a 2023 model would be the cherry on top!!
