As far as I've been able to tell, the biggest differences from Luxury trim and Sports trim are that the Luxury models have "light body moldings" and Sport models have "dark body modlings", and there are different rims and grille patterns.

So basically right now it's "adding black body panel elements, and body colored door handles makes it a Sport trim". lol

 

Right now it just looks like difference in appearance only. $500 adder at each trim level (versus Luxury). But, they could do something with features that are not obvious from just the order guide - such as different modes. Cadillac better make that clear one way or the other - before people decide. But as of now, all we can identify as being different is what is detailed in the order guide, and the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq brochure on the web site.

 

When they officially announce the 2024s hopefully more ride differences, if any, will be included.

 

Both Luxury and Sport have choreographed lighting:

I wasn’t a huge fan of the sport at first but it’s been growing on me. The blue sport trim in the video above looks pretty fantastic. Think that might be the one I go with

 

The standard rims on sport are much better looking imo than the ones on Lux/tech

Might be in the minority here, but I actually prefer the non-sport trim at least on the front end.

 

Honestly, I like them both, but I favor the Sport grill. The primary reason I would go sport is the blackout option on the chrome. I'm just not a fan of chrome 1) on a red car and 2) on any car built after about 1969.
