That is the old style CS mount, and yep it was too tall on my car also.

I run their new style and it's fantastic. It is the same height as the stock mount with revshift insert, which is the perfect height and angle for my car.

I thought they discontinued this mount, but they’re still selling it on their site as the engine + transmission mount package (which is the package I bought).
Hopefully they’ve fixed this issue but the pictures of the transmission mount on their site look just like mine.
I saw the newer one that you are talking about m, and it does look a lot like the factory one, albeit with better material.

If you contact them, they may change it out for a nominal fee.

I was unable to due to international shipping, but of you are stateside go for it. I will be sending in my old style and exchanging it for the new style when I next cross the pond.
